The Holy Montenegrin Orthodox Church has fought injustice, inequality, denial of the religious and national rights of ethnic Montenegrins along with negative propaganda, falsification, denial of the authenticity of our church, disqualification, all coming even from government officials i.e. civil servants.

One of those basic rights is access to Montenegrin Orthodox religious buildings built by Orthodox Montenegrins from their own funds, some of which are registered as state property of Montenegro, and others transferred to the church of another, neighboring, state of Serbia.

We have no access to either. On the other hand, the church of another state collects material wealth from the same religious buildings, uses them to win over believers and national and political propaganda wich is not related to religious teachings. At the same time, there are numerous examples of the devastation of religious buildings without the permission of state institutions, in which history itself is being rewritten.

The situation was significantly aggravated by the change of government and the elections in 2020, as well as the abolition of the already very modest funds that the state paid to the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, as well as to other religious communities.

Help us to continue to fight, now even harder, for our religious and civil rights at this time.

It is time to raise our heads, because whatever comes on the way, we are ready, our faith is strong, and the fight is just.
